I think that things for cyclists are looking up in Waco. Critical Mass is here and although I am not sure it is the best way to confront the car culture it is still good to see. Sitting here in the shop today the Himstead brothers and their merry gang of hooligans arrived 6 guys on fixies just cruisin through town. It is like a breath of fresh air I tell you. Mike just went for FCB's to chill the afternoon air and we are just hangin out. Fixed riding offroad is where it is at although I can not seem to explain it to anyone, the control and the challenge of it perfect. The perfect off road ride. I just asked Mike for some jelly beans and he brought back road kill. Go figure. I
