Today I dropped my car off to have the starter replaced. In doing so I overheard a one sided conversation of the guy behind the counter at the car place. During this converation I can not recall how many times he repeated " If you do the regular maintenence and upkeep on your car you will be less likely to have major surprises down the road and it will last longer. This went on for about 10 minutes while I sat there and waited for him to be done. I could not for the life of think about why people continually do not listen to their mechanics. The conversation that he had was the exact conversation that we have everyday at the bike shop with people. Why do we have to build massive wooden trails of skinnys when you could just ride in the dirt. I think that one of the best feelings in the world is cruising through the woods not hearing your full suspension bike creak and groan beneath you. I love the sound of a bike tire rolling through the woods. I found the downfall to this wi-fi stuff. Some random fat guy just walked up to me and asked me to look up a stock quote... I
