I have to say that I am very dissapointed in the happenings at the Tour de France. It is sad that people continue to put their own life and jobs at risk and the jobs and lifes of other all for some money and fame. It amazes me that the racers could be so stupid to think that they can pull this off. Back in the day when I was a team mechanic there was always talk and bitching about riders who were dopers and how it was so unfair to the ones who were not doping. I also believe that it goes much further then the race results, it drives sponsors away it makes racers look like a bunch of stupid aholes and it ruins the lifes of those around them. Boonen called today for lifetime bans, and the UCI should stop screwing around and do that. It is great that Rabobank took a hardline on the chicken and made a example out of him. For all of the racers that always follow the rules and bust their ass training to make it all work more power to Rabobank. Look up www.doperssuck.com and start supporting clean racing for all, not just a few. IAN
