Wow, single speeding... right... are you trying to be some kind of tough guy? This is usually the response I get from people who only ride multi- geared when they happen to look down at my bike. It's not about being macho, although it can lead to an upturned nose towards geared bikes. It's not about being a hard ass, it is just about challenging yourself and having fun.
(Off the subject of single speeding) East Texas is beautiful... There are great riding opportunities. If you haven't been to Tyler State Park, you should try it. The trails are short but sweet.
I didn't ride there this weekend. I played golf. I shot twenty one over par on a par three course. I did donuts in a gas powered golf cart and got it to backfire.
Just for future reference, most of my posts will be pointless thoughts and rants. Nobody but us reads this shit anyway.
