Disparaging customers probably isn't helpful. True, many are ignorant and annoying, and it can be hard to be nice to them. I hope the customer didn't sense your contempt for him/her.

When acting outside our scope of expertise, all of us have come off as complete idiots to someone who knew more than we.

I hope that someone practiced patience with you when it was your turn.

Please contemplate this missed opportunity.

You have just proved my point about your shameful treatment of others.

Someone must have treated you with a great deal of contempt to teach you to treat others so badly. I wish that had not happened.

You are lonely for a reason, Mike.

You will never build yourself up to your potential by tearing others down. That is the common self-delusion of an emotional weakling. No matter how much you denigrate others, it will not make you better than them. It's a delusion based in self-loathing.

However, you can make a change in yourself.

Today is a good day to begin. Seriously, consider seeing a counselor. It can help.
