I am so proud of myself right now. My friend Dave dropped a new front door off at our house today and I installed it. The greatest part is that it actually works. It opens and it closes and it locks, what a novel idea. Anyway today was busy with all sorts of stuff including the lady who called the shop looking for someone to come to her house and install a hook in the ceiling. When she looked up the bike shop in the phone book did she happen to notice that we were a bike shop and not a general contractor? Anyway Soph was a nutbar today wearing either her pjs or her swimsuit all day even though she would not take a nap and we do not have a pool. The greatest part by far today was the guy who e mailed me wondering if the free camping at the bike race cost anything...... I

Hi Ian.
I'm glad the door worked, AMAZING. A piece of tape on the side said it was 36", but I measured it and it was 35 1/2". Is there enough light coming in the hall now? Check out solartubes or solatubes, they bring in a lot of natural light. Well, cool little "blog" site. These are new for me, but I work at a computer now (crap!), and have a little time.

I'm looking forward to getting my fixed gear in the park. Let's get some folks together and head out there. Peace, Dave
