I am doing a 12 hour mountain bike race tommorow with three other people. I have a bike dilema that I think I have solved but my wifey thinks I am crazy. I want to ride the il pompino with a freewheel instead of fixed and fat tires because when I ride it my knee doesn't hurt. I figure that I may (may) loose a little time in the rough stuff with this bike but because my knee won't hurt I will be able to pedal. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I love the pompino. It rips. It is like butter on the trails and with the H bars it is perfect. I think I will ride the pompino. Cat has only won the race at Warda a few times anyway and is an old pro on the bike so what does she know? Famous last words. I will write from the La Grange ER tommorow. I
